TAKING LECTURE NOTE BY MISS DILAH

WHY TAKES NOTES
  • Pay attention in class
  • Help us study for quiz,exam
  • Help improve our memory
  • Help engage our senses
  • Help to organize and process data


WHY REVIEW NOTE
  • Lose 80% of what we hear if we not reviewed within a few hours
  • Identitfy any questions for peers or to ask the lecturer
  • Not enough time to absorb all the information in class

BEFORE CLASS
  • Review the notes before the class
  • Make sure you have paper,pencils

GETTING READY TO LEARN BY MISS DILAH

This was  my first UED class.At first Miss Dilah reset our mind that we no longer a high school student but we all now are university student,so she talked with us a bit about the difference between life at school and university.

             
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFE AT SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY


              LIFE AT SCHOOL
     LIFE AT UNIVERSITY
Spend more time in class
Spend fewer time in class
Had a lot of test
Had fewer test
Classes are smaller
Classes are bigger
A lot of homework
Fewer assignment
Always been reminded by teacher about examination date
Might not be remind about examination date


Then,Miss Dilah tell us to quickly adapt  university life and step up our own game by 

  • learn how to take a good note
  • make weekly schedule
  • go to every classes early
  • understand concept in your own way
  • make master list of assignment,project or exam

She also tell us EIGHT STEPS TO SUCCESS 🏆

  4. Get to know lecture
  5. Form study group
  6. Up to date with work
  7. Be receptive to change
  8. Work hard every semester

SETTING YOUR GOAL BY SIR ISHA

Another lecturer that teached us UED 112 is Sir Isha.He told us that to strive for success we need a GOAL!
    "FAIL TO PLAN MAKE US PLAN TO FAIL"
In the beginning he told us the exact definition of goal.
He told us that our goal must attainable,measurable,has a time limit,within our control and in writing.He also told us about how to make our goal look SMART😎I also make example of my smart goal

Sir Isha then continued with our last topic "time management".
 He told us the definition of time management is we use our time affectively.

  3. MAKE SEMESTER CALENDAR
  4. DIFFERENTIATE STUDY TIME AND PERSONAL LIFE




THE ADVANTAGE OF BEING ORGANIZED ARE

  1. WE WILL KNOW OUR PRIORITIES
  2. REDUCES STRESS
  3. BUILD OUR CONFIDENCE

"THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS AVOID PROCRASTINATION

Sir isha also told us to plan our own time table and another table about how to differentiate the prioritize of our
